We perform at our FestofKAA – a performance, which usually consists of one full-length play. Auditions take place in the first couple of weeks, and it premieres around the end of a semester. Our activities are not quite the same every year, and we have experimented with other forms.
Here are projects we made in the recent years:
- full-length play – a ~90-120 minute production,
- sketch – a shorter play performed before the main play
- sketch show – a set of sketches, or short plays, performed in a row (ideal for beginners)
However, acting is not the only department where you can show your skills and talents. We also have backstage and PR teams, which accept new members all year long. Here is a quick list of their responsibilities:

- taking care of the stage before and after (sometimes during) performaces

- creating promotional materials – posters, pamphlets, or social media posts about the

And lastly, there are leading positions, occupied by senior members of ActofKAA. They include the heads of the backstage and PR teams, the president of the club, (optionally) vice- president of the club, and the directors. There is no set person for directing – every production has its own director, elected with their chosen play on the general assembly, among the all club members and participants, before the start of the semester. There are many more opportunitues for participation and we are always open to the new ideas. So if you are a writer (preferably for the sketches, but you can write a full-length play if you dare), a photographer, a make-up artist, a person interested in organising workshops or writing music, send us an email.
